this film
project.

The Civil War has just ended, and Joshua Cross is looking
forward to going home. As a black spy for the Union, Joshua
and his partner George have seen first-hand man’s inhumanity
to man. The two men make their last report to Senator
Benjamin Knight and prepare for the road home. But, as the
two men soon find out, just because the war is over doesn’t
mean the fighting is done.
Joshua’s wife, also a spy for the Union, has been taken
by a Southern Senator hellbent on making sure the South
rises again and his plan starts with an assassination of
President Lincoln.
Joshua and George soon discover old prejudices don’t die
easily, as they search for Joshua’s wife across the
expanding and reconstructing United States. With only the
simple clues she is able to leave him, Joshua drives himself
night and day to find her and stop the man who has her from
rebuilding the Confederacy.
Follow the clues. Follow the trail. Follow your heart.
Follow the road.
A heart warming and touching tale of love, action,
adventure, and mystery Joshua’s Road is an exciting program
for the whole family!

Reports from WildWestReenactors.com
Each month, WildWestReenactors.com will explore the "Wild West" to
bring you updates on cowboy events and stories from the trail.
Old west folks are story
tellers. Some can spin a tale pretty darn monstrous, and some folks tell it
like is was. So for all you old west folks that know how to read and write,
send one of your stories our way, to WildWestReenactors.com . We'll put it in
print on this website as an entertaining ride through literature. We'll clean
it up a little if you make it just a bit too colorful, but otherwise, we'll
print it as your own words. Maybe you've got a persona of the character that
you are as an old west re-enactor, or you have written some good history that
took place back in the old days. Maybe you have a family member that you are
so darn proud of that lived through those years before America took the curve
in the road into the 1900's.

The Birth of a Cowboy!
I was born Jefferson Alan, in
the Minnesota Territory, in 1845. My father, Joshua, and
older brothers Joseph, and James, was hard workin'
farmers. My mother Sadie, and little sister Sophie, took
good care of our cabin, and fed us all well. Farmin' was
as hard a life as any man or woman could have chosen, or
be born into. But it was a good life for our family.
